Hi DSpace Community,
I have a question regarding solr statistics and the field isBot. May I have
your help to validate my understanding of the solr configuration
*solr-statistics.query.filter.isBot
= true* setting.
When this line is commented out in the file *solr-statistics.cfg*, would
that mean the isBot filter is enabled as a default setting in DSpace? I
noticed that this is also the same in the file*
{dspace.dir}/config/modules/solr-statistics.cfg* where the setting
*usage-statistics.logBots* is also commented out.
For further context, I explored the solr server dashboard and noted that
there are solr queries using the isBot filter is returning documents,
however I have been seeing inconsistencies with view/download counts.
Therefore, I would like to verify my understanding of the solr statistics
setup.
