We are conducting a study on the impact of cybersecurity measures on access to resources in digital repositories in Africa, with particular focus on the potential conflicts between security and access to resources. We are currently administering a survey and seeking responses from repository managers and IT personnel working with digital repositories across Africa. The survey is anonymized. However, I requested participants’ names and email addresses only to enable me to share a summary of the research findings with those who took part once the study is completed.
