Hi Mosses, I'd recommend checking the logs of your DSpace to see if there's an underlying error that is blocking your ability to submit an item. See our Troubleshooting Guide for where to look for possible underlying errors: https://wiki.lyrasis.org/display/DSPACE/Troubleshoot+an+error
It's possible you'll find that it's one of the "Common Installation Issues" listed in our installation guide: https://wiki.lyrasis.org/display/DSDOC8x/Installing+DSpace#InstallingDSpace-CommonInstallationIssues If you don't figure out the solution after finding the error, you can also search the archives of this list for a possible solution, or post the error message you found to this thread for more advice.
