Hello all, In our existing DSpace 7.6.5 repository, we have three metadata fields for date in our thesis collection that are autofilled: dc.date.accessioned, dc.date.available, and dc.date.issued. For some reason, dc.date.available doesn't show up in our DSpace 8.x repository, and dc.date.issued isn't showing up consistently. Does anyone have any ideas why this might be?
Also, how useful is it having these three dates? Usually they all end up getting set to the same date. I thought dc.date.accessioned was supposed to be the date the submission was created in the system, dc.date.available should be when the thesis is publicly available, and dc.date.issued is the date the student actually submits their thesis, but if the same date is in that field, I'm not sure what's happening.
