Hi all,
there have been a couple of performance related issues with DSpace 7 and
above.
Some have possible solutions in the pipeline.
We are running 9.2 with a medium size repo:
epersongroup : 1245
group2group : 1037
resourcepolicy : 212215
epersongroup2eperson : 197
collection : 854
community : 203
The performance problems we were facing only appeared on a group of
library staff members beeing involved
in a lot of workflow tasks or having other priveliges.
Disabling the AccessRightsAwareness as described here, did the trick for us.
https://wiki.lyrasis.org/spaces/DSDOC9x/pages/379126068/Discovery#Discovery-AccessRightsAwareness
The respond times are now "normal".
This might be just a band aid until the refactoring of
authorization-based Solr queries is complete, but it did the trick for us.
Hope this helps
Claudia
