Hi. I'm currently trying to do the same thing. My way however is to
filter-media look alike which would run once a night and for all .mpg or
.mov entries, build a .flv and add it to the bundle. If it could be done as
you wish it would be better I think.

standard format(say flash/mov)
2) and Add the new file as a bitstream to that submission.
