I'd guess you're not actually commiting the changes to the database.

Are you calling "context.commit()" after the update?

Hi All,

We have around 100 files in dspace. Now we have to add a new DC field and the 
value of that DC field to each of these files. 

 

I created the new DC field using administrator right. Then I wrote a java 
program to add the new DC field using "addDC" function. I can see in the debug 
view, it is updating the dc value. But when I go back to the dspace, edit that 
item, it is not displaying the new dc filed with its value.

 

Do I have to update any other database fields?
