I hope this isn't an insulting response.
- I'm away from my office so have no examples, and I haven't implemented
it yet, but I have had a discussion with my IT folks regarding LDAP
authentication with DSpace.
They should be able to give you the settings you need.
The trick, at least for me, is that the LDAP server may not support
anonymous "searching".
If that's the case you'll need IT to create credentials, and assign
rights for the DSpace server "user" to search where you need.
