Hi Dorothea
At Instituto Antonio Carlos Jobim, Brasil we have made many changes  
to itemTag and ItemListTag. These changes will apply to all views in  
DSpace and are quite hard to mantain as the DSpace code changes. If  
you are using the last version of DSpace in cvs you could easily  
install Manakin, a user interface for DSpace based in xsl  
stylesheets. The look of manakin is very beautyfull and you will be  
able to customise your views more easily and apply the changes to the  
whole DSpace, to one collection one determinate view or to an item.
