Hi all, As some of you may know, DSpace is participating as a sponsoring organisation in Google's Summer of Code 2007! This means Google will pay for some students to do development work on DSpace over the summer.
Many readers of these DSpace lists are at universities brimming with keen young developer talent. Please spread awareness of this program and DSpace among your best students! Point them to: http://code.google.com/soc/ http://code.google.com/soc/dspace/about.html http://code.google.com/p/google-summer-of-code/wiki/GsocFlyers (Write DSpace on it ;-) Also, if you have good ideas for projects that a student could do in 3 months, please feel free to add them to the list of ideas: http://wiki.dspace.org/index.php/Summer_of_Code_Ideas The deadline for student applications is March 24th.
