Hi Jodi,

you might yourself start with export from the bibliographic databases 
available at your University. That gives you the possibility to get an 
overview of the most widely used export formats. This should help you on 
deciding which basic formats to support. You might start a 
database/supported formats/samples list on the wiki.
I can send you a list of all available databases here, just tell me 
which samples you need.
