Well, the first step is to ensure that the file will be served as 'content-type: application/x-shockwave-flash'. You'll need to ensure that an appropriate entry has been made in the bitstream format registry and that it is applied to the Flash bitstreams.
The next hurdle is that this may cause the client to download the entire presentation before starting it. If the presentation is large, the delay may range from unpleasant to unacceptable. With other AV formats I've had some success in placing a copy of the actual presentation on a streaming server and submitting a SMIL document which points to it. This requires that the client know what to do with an 'application/smil' document. RealPlayer and Quicktime understand these, but I don't recall whether they understand Flash. Depending on your specific needs, another AV format might serve better. -- Mark H.
