Hello, I am in the process of upgrading our DSpace from 1.3.2 to 1.4.2 and thought it would be great to take a look into manakin right now. Now I found that switching to manakin means switching to another formatting scheme for text fragments in the user inter- face. Is there any converter to do that automagically? No, dont say whether there is one, it has to be there; just tell me how I can get it, please!
I have just merged our changes to Messages_de.properties into the latest version manually, which was a several days venture or a true nightmare to speak frankly. I wont switch to manakin any time soon if I have to do that again. Actually, I have not yet found a german Messages.xml for manakin to start with. (Ok, ok, I should have taken time to install all of the Eclipse stuff and use ressource manager, I know now. But, I took time to try and decided to put that back to be done another day, because setup of Eclipse with all its PlugIns, Callisto and other strange sounding stuff was quite intimidating too, com- pared to using my wellknown longtime companion text editor.)
