We have two messages files, messages_de.properties and messages_en.properties and if you switch browser locale, you get the other language. I did not try, but maybe it does not work if you leave the default messages.properties. We renamed it to messages_en.properties (I am not at the live machine, just look into our local source repository). Then, which browser you use for tes- ting? I use either Firefox with "Quick Locale Swit- cher" or Safari for MacOS. But Safari needs to be restarted whereas Firefox doesnt, as long as you dont want all the Firefox menues to be reloaded.
