How do you modify the metadata of an existing item in batch without reloading the items bit stream data?
We are creating our metadata on other platform and using ItemImporter to add the item. We need a batch solution to keep our metadata in DSpace in sync with our production platform. Most of our batch jobs are written in Perl; however we can work in Java.
