Hello, I think your system performs pretty well for up to 40 concurrent users (some less with uploads). I would check the options that you start your JVM with. Did you set the -Xmx to let say -Xmx256m? You might gain more performance from that. I would also run some tools on the server such as dstat to find out whether the memory is used or when swapping starts or whether CPU cycles are scarce.
