Your problem may be the capital 'N' in dc.Notes Try it with a lower case
'n'.

Hi,
i'm trying to add a new search field in advanced search categories.
I altered the advanced.jsp to include MySearchField
and Messages.properties to include the key.
I mapped the dc.Notes metadata field to MySearchField in dspace.cfg file :
search.index.20 = MySearchField:dc.Notes
and finally reindexed the items
Everything worked fine, the new field appeared in advanced search
categories,
the re indexing performed with no errors in logs and the rebuilding also
with no errors.
But nothing apears when searching on that field. I tried several times with
different values
but no result.
Any comment will be helpfull,
