Hi nagesh,

There was already a thread in this forum which said for running dspace on
fedora, u need sun-jdk compatible package to be installed.

http://ccl.net/cca/software/SOURCES/JAVA/JSDK-1.5/index.shtml.

I faced similar problem and when i installed the compatible package it did
magic for me.
