Installing 1.4.2 on Ubuntu, following the basic install directions.
The ant fresh_install command stops with this:
Buildfile: build.xml
compile:
[javac] Compiling 1 source file to
/home/mcgee/Desktop/dspace-source/dspace-1.4.2-source/build/classes
[javac]
/home/mcgee/Desktop/dspace-source/dspace-1.4.2-source/src/org/dspace/app/oai/DIDLCrosswalk.java:46:
'class' or 'interface' expected
[javac] import org.dspace.content.DCValue;
[javac] ^
[javac] 1 error
BUILD FAILED
/home/mcgee/Desktop/dspace-source/dspace-1.4.2-source/build.xml:125 ....
etc.
I haven't been able to find anything like this on the support forums. If I
coment out the line before (import org.dspace.content.DCDate) it works,
but I doubt that's where I want to be.
