I've not had to install it on Solaris yet, but I'm due to visit a university in the UK to do so in a few weeks time, so would appreciate hearing about your experience. I can't imagine there will be too many difficulties. I'm sure we'd all be grateful if you documented your findings on a page linked from http://wiki.dspace.org/index.php/Installation (there are links to installation notes on lots of different platforms).
