If you are comfortable working with perl, the Marc::Record module might be a good tool to use for batch converting MARC records into DSpace Dublin core.
There is a decent tutorial, as well as files for download, at http://marcpm.sourceforge.net/ I have some scripts that I have created earlier if you are interested in some real-life examples.
