I need to edit the Administrator account for my Dspace 1.3.2 installation. When trying to validate our site at the OAI Data Provider Registration, we got the error that the adminEmail address 'looks bogus'. Evidently there is a space at the end of the existing administrator's email address and that's what's causing the error.
So I need to either edit or re-create the dspace administrator account--this time without leaving a space at the end of the email address. I went to /dspace/bin/create-administrator and entered the required data but got the following error: Exception occurred:java.sql.SQLException: ERROR: duplicate key violates unique constraint "eperson_email_key" Short of deleting records in the eperson table or the eperson_email_key, (and consequently the other tables on which there are dependencies) does anyone know how I can solve this dilemma? Is it possible to edit or re-create the admin account easily?
