I am trying to customise DSPACE to suit the requirements of our project . We have some parts of metadata exsisting in ORACLE DATABASE , now I have to customise my item description form to accept key input values , after that based on these values a script need to be executed to fetch data from oracle database and use that data to display on the input form, if data is not available in oracle database , then form is used to enter data. and then the electronic file is uploaded.
I started to look in to input-forms.xml file and trying to modify , however what are the other files required to be modified and what software to use to write code to do this exercise. I am currently working with Dspace in windows with postgresql as the back end.
