Hello,

if I check our OAI interface using <http://re.cs.uct.ac.za/>,
I get 2 errors. Essentially they say that my records contain
more different Dublin Core Elements than described in

<http://www.openarchives.org/OAI/2.0/oai_dc.xsd>

which is the default schema DSpace refers to. This is true,
we have extended the Type registry. The Repository Explorer
stumbles across the type location like this:

<dc:location>Archivschrank I</dc:location>

You can see a full record here:

<http://stadtteilgeschichten.net/dspace-oai/request?verb=GetRecord&metadataPrefix=oai_dc&identifier=oai:stadtteilgeschichten.net:2339.1/22

 >

My questions are:

Should I worry about that at all?

Is there an extended schema available, containing more or
all possible Dublin Core Elements that I could point to?

Should I edit the schema, serve it from my own site,
change the OAI code in DSpace to point to my local schema
or would this brake the rules for OAI data providers?

Thank you, Christian
