Hi,
I'm new to DSpace, but I believe I've followed all the steps in the
installation process alright, and I can open DSpace in my browser with no
problem.
However, when I try to create a new community, I get the following error:
HTTP Status 500 - type Exception report
message
description The server encountered an internal error () that prevented it
from fulfilling this request.
exception
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: Could not initialize class

note The full stack trace of the root cause is available in the Apache
Tomcat/5.5.26 logs.
I don't really know where to start from in trying to solve this... Can
anyone help me?
And is there any other way to create a community? other than the DSpace
webpage?
Thank you!
