Searching archives didn't answer this for me. If I missed something ,
pointers are welcome

I'm running the Ubuntu 7.10 x86_64 server distro on a Dell Poweredge R200.

Should I install dspace from the stock jars, or should I grab the
source and recompile?

Answers from direct experience will be helpful as this is my first
x86_64. Ubuntu.
I've installed the sun-java-1.5 jdk, but I am agnostic about java
version if there is something better.

Thanks
Bob Morris
