Hi Majid, Thank you for your reply. 1- The credentials to log in to the database are correct
2- pg_hba.conf is edited as mentioned in the installation instructions 3- Does this error "FATAL: Ident authentication failed for user "dspace"" mean that I need to edit the file pg_ident.con but I don't know how. How should I map the users? I even faced this error when I was trying to created while logged in as postgres user. To solve it, I logged in as dspace user and created the database. Don't know if this causes a problem too.
