******************* Do you have some new project results to share, some unsolved issues to discuss, or some problems to solve? Come and contribute to the Repository Fringe (www.repositoryfringe.org) at the start of the Edinburgh Festival. The Repository Fringe is a unique venue for discussion, dissemination and networking, being run on the Edinburgh Festival Fringe model - anyone is allowed to come along and put on a show! In our case "a show" is likely to be a discussion about an emerging issue, or a group attempt to come to some concensus about solving a problem, or a co-ordinated demonstration of some new ideas. The Fringe workshop will facilitate and support participation by offering a structured format of themed sessions which you can pick and choose to take part in. The hour-long themed sessions will include: Poster bazaar - design a poster and set up a stall at the poster bazaar. Carboot-sale presentation - bring along a talk and educate us about your project. Birds of a Feather sessions - flock together to form your own discussion group. Plenary - invited speakers will stimulate us with a provocative viewpoint. The programme will be negotiated online with participants at http://www.repositoryfringe.org/ PLEASE contact us AS SOON AS POSSIBLE at the email on the website (www.repositoryfringe.org) to allocate your space and register the AV requirements needed for your 'performance'. --- Les Carr & Theo Andrew RepositoryFringe is supported by JISC and seeks involvement from repository platforms, partners and environments. -- The University of Edinburgh is a charitable body, registered in Scotland, with registration number SC005336. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Microsoft Defy all challenges.
