When I remove the initial step from the submital process, the 2nd step where the metadata is entered removes date.issued and title.alternative from the form. I think these entries are included or removed based on the answers given in the initial page, but if that page is no longer there, shouldn't any metadata specified in the input-forms.xml be displayed.
