Hi,
Has anyone come up with a XSL stylesheet for converting the raw DIM metadata
into MARCXML? I'm working on a cataloging tool
for as-complete-as-possible importing of DSpace items into our Voyager ILS.
The conversion routine works okay by converting the OAI-PMH oai_dc into
MARCXML and then into MARC21 but there is some significant data loss with
oai_dc, especially since we'll have to introduce custom fields into the DIM
metadata schema.
There seems to be some DSpace instances serving oai_marc through OAI-PMH (
http://qspace.library.queensu.ca/ for example) which could also be of help
but I haven't been able to find a crosswalk for that either.
