Do you have an idea of what your repository is going to be used for over the
lifetime of the hardware you intend to purchase? Without this, it is hard to
judge a potential hardware specification.
Consider factors such as:
- Number of items
- Size and type of items
- Amount of usage of your repository
- What level of requirement you have for redundancy and failover
- What hardware budget you may have coming up in order to upgrade the
system
- etc

For a moderately sized and used repository this sounds fine. I'm assuming
you are mirroring those two internal disks. If you were thinking of holding
your indexes locally on the faster SAS disks, depending upon their size, you
might need to increase the size of the disks.

Nice and big!
My initial reaction, not knowing your requirements, is that this is a *lot*
of storage, for just a single server to serve. If it just an archive for
large files which won't get used very often that should be fine, but if it
is for hundreds of thousands of items, you may want want an additional
server in order to split your database and web application server up.
I hope these random thoughts help a bit!
Cheers,
Stuart
