Hi Sathyamoorthy,

in order to activate full text search you should run
[dspace]/bin/filter-media as a cron job.
This will extract the text of the bitstreams and make it searchable.

If you got very large bitstreams you may also adjust this setting in 
dspace.cfg
search.maxfieldlength = 10000
Setting it to
search.maxfieldlength = -1
will be unlimited.

This will need more memory so you may have to increase the memory used in
[dspace]/bin/dsrun
java -Xmx256m -classpath $FULLPATH "$@"
