Yes! :) Many people do, and of the half dozen or so instances we (a colleague and I) support for universities other than our own, most are run on Windows Server. There are a few tweaks you need from the standard build: - The scripts need rewriting (or download a patch) as they come as unix shell scripts. This isn't a big job, we cold send you a copy if you needed them. - The handle server has to be set up a bit differently, but there are full instructions here: http://wiki.dspace.org/index.php/Handle_Server_Setup_as_Windows_Service_(usi ng_Tanuki) Thanks, Stuart _________________________________________________________________ Gwasanaethau Gwybodaeth Information Services Prifysgol Aberystwyth Aberystwyth University E-bost / E-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Ffon / Tel: (01970) 622860 _________________________________________________________________ ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ DSpace-tech mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/dspace-tech
