We get them too, also for the bitstream URLs sometimes where the handle is stripped off. It seems to be the Yahoo slurp spider perhaps trying to discover new URLs by descending down the directory tree. E.g.: 74.6.22.120 - - [21/Sep/2008:01:10:59 +0100] "GET /dspace/feed/ HTTP/1.0" 404 5931 "-" "Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; Yahoo! Slurp; http://help.yahoo.com/help/us/ysearch/slurp)" Thanks, Stuart _________________________________________________________________ Gwasanaethau Gwybodaeth Information Services Prifysgol Aberystwyth Aberystwyth University E-bost / E-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Ffon / Tel: (01970) 622860 _________________________________________________________________ ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ DSpace-tech mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/dspace-tech
