Hello all, I'm reviewing our metadata input and would like to know if anyone knows what happens to 'mangled dates'? We had been putting years in like 20?? When unsure of the exact publication date and I've found the following in the logs:
2008-07-31 12:26:53,293 WARN org.dspace.content.DCDate @ Mangled date: 20?? Exception: java.lang.NumberFormatException: For input string: "20??" How does DSpace handle this error-- what happens to the date? What do others do to represent unknown dates?
