Hi Robert,

You have to enable cache also, otherwise count will not display in XMLUI

webui.strengths.cache = true

Hi All,
  I'm trying to show the number of items in a community and collection
in XMLUI interface.

I've adjusted the dpace.cfg file although I realise that doesn't affect
the XMLUI:

##### Settings for content count/strength information ####

# whether to display collection and community strengths
# (This configuration is not used by XMLUI. To show strengths in the
# XMLUI, you just need to create a theme which displays them)
webui.strengths.show = true

I have also updated the DIM-Handler.xsl file with the update here:

http://dspace.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/dspace/branches/dspace-1_5_x/ds
pace-xmlui/dspace-xmlui-webapp/src/main/webapp/themes/dri2xhtml/DIM-Hand
ler.xsl?r1=2812&r2=3019&pathrev=3019

Still no joy as yet. If anyone can offer any suggestions that would be
great :)

Thanks in advance
    Rob
