Hi Thomas,

you should run [dspace]/bin/index-update to update the browse and search 
indices.
If you're running filter-media as a cron job without the -n option the 
indexing is done at this point anyway.
See dspace/docs/html/ch03.html#N10918 for setting up cron jobs. Some 
scripts should be run regularly.
