This thread spurred me to get back to my unfinished and untested Context Object in Spans (COinS) template for Manakin, aimed at Zotero-friendliness.
I can't say whether it's 100% functional, because I have only tested it on an article and a book. I *can* say that it did work for them -- Zotero sucked them right up! The template lives in my utility-templates file, which you can grab from <http://minds.wisconsin.edu/themes/utils.xsl>, search for the string "COinS" to find both the call and the template. Feedback and improvements gratefully accepted.
