Hi all,
I'm installing Dspace 1.5.1 with Eclipse, for developing purposes, but I
have some doubts about dspace.cfg. In documentation and wiki it's said
that dspace.cfg file should be edited in the installation folder, not in
the source-code file system.
Well, I have done it this way and executed "*ant
-Dconfig=c:\DS151InstallDir\config\dspace.cfg fresh_install*" but when I
start tomcat the following error is showed in console:
INFO: Loading provided config file: ${dspace.dir}/config/dspace.cfg
FATAL: Can't load configuration:
file:/D:/TOMCAT/${dspace.dir}/config/dspace.cfg (note:
instead of TOMCAT should be c:\DS151InstallDir)
If I want to run the application I need to update web.xml under
\dspace\target\dspace-1.5.1-build.dir\webapps\jspui\WEB-INF\
I think I've got something wrong because neither *fresh_install* nor
*update *is updating the variable ${dspace.dir} in this web.xml
Anyone got the same?
