Hello DSpacers,

I am trying to get the controlled vocabulary feature working using SRSC but
it is not working for me. As per the manual I have enabled the feature in
dspace.cfg by setting webui.controlledvocabulary.enable to true. I have also
edited input-forms.xml, putting a vocabulary tag under the field for
dc.subject, specifying that SRSC is to be used.

I selected an item already in my repo and set the dc.subject to one in SRSC.
I set it to 'Software engineering'. Sure enough, that subject then appears
in the subject browser, but the other ones that relate to it according to
SRSC do not appear. I was expecting them to. Subject browing seems to be
unaffected by my config changes, everything it working just like it did
before my changes. What am I doing wrong please? Can anyone point me to a
DSpace site that has the feature working please? I would like to browse such
a site so I can get a better idea of how it is supposed to appear to the
end-user.

BTW, the reason I picked Software engineering is because in the SRSC it is
reached by the path Technology=>Information technology=>Computer
science=>software engineering. I expected the top-level subject Technology
to get created, with Information technology below it.
