Hi Andrew, In fact ISSN is not part of Dublin Core. Bear in mind that Dublin Core is not restricted to the academic/publishing world. Typically people use dc.identifier for this data and add a qualifier of issn to the end just to identify what is actually in there, but the qualifier is not part of Dublin Core. When the metadata is exposed for OAI-PMH purposes the qualifiers are stripped off because they have no meaning outwith your own installation. So, just add another metadata term called dc.identifier.eissn (or whatever you want to call it) and Bobs your uncle.
Cheers, Robin.
