Hi Claudia,
Way back when, we had to make this modification to Itemtag.java in 1.3.1,
but I know I remember some talk about this mod being made to subsequent
version(s) of DSpace. Seeing as I just had to make this (small) modification
to Itemtag.java again in 1.5.1, I guess it hasn't been done, but it seems like
it should be. Do you know if there are plans to implement this change in a
future DSpace release?

the order in which the metadata appears in the full item display is not
configurable via dspace.cfg.
If you want to change it, take a look at:
org.dspace.app.webui.jsptag.ItemTag.java
renderFull()
