Your log file was pretty jumbled, but I did notice this in there:

/submit/edit-metadata.jsp(990,31) Attribute value
LocaleSupport.getLocalizedMessage(pageContext, "help.index") +
"#describe2" is quoted with " which must be escaped when used within the
value

        at
org.apache.jasper.compiler.DefaultErrorHandler.jspError(DefaultErrorHand
ler.java:40)

        at
org.apache.jasper.compiler.ErrorDispatcher.dispatch(ErrorDispatcher.java
:407)

Without looking at this in detail, I'm wondering if you may possibly
have either a customized message in Messages.properties that contains a
double-quote (") *or* you've customized your input screens and have a
stray double-quote somewhere....??

Hope this helps!

Sue

Subject: [Dspace-general] Internal Error submiting item

Hi,

I installed Dspace 1.5.0 then I created a test Community and Collection.

Then I intented submit an item but when i finish the first step and

clicked on Next button I received the next message " Internal System

Error: The system has experienced an internal error. Please try to do

what you were doing again, and if the problem persists, please contact

us so we can fix the problem".

Anybody know the reason?

I attach the log file.

Thanks.
