This work is all available on the wiki, see
http://wiki.dspace.org/index.php/HistorySystemPrototype
Some warnings:
- It is based on a prototype version of the Event System, which is different
from what actually got integrated into DSpace so some porting is needed.
- It depends on the Sesame RDF database. It should be changed to use
Sesame's "HttpClient", which lets many applications and/or threads access
the same triplestore. The way it was written, using a native triplestore,
risks corrupting it under production conditions when multiple JVMs may
be generating history events.
- this work is all two years old, so it's suffered some bit decay,
and I do not have time to give any support or even advice beyond this.
The DSpace 1.5 documentation still mentions the old history system, it should
be corrected.
good luck,
