Thanks for the update. I am beginning to realise just what a big issue the
reliability of metadata is. IMO bad or missing data should make it so that
an export is not offered because it is not possible.
So as it stands, this won't be incorporated into DSpace before 2.0. We need

Fair enough. I don't hear about anyone looking at improving the metadata
situation though. Maybe I'm just not listening in the right places....

Unfortunately, that won't do for me. I happen to use firefox myself but the
software is aimed at Joe Public, who will be using Internet Exploiter. :-(
