Hi everyone,

I am using DSpace 1.5.1, Tomcat 5.5.25, jdk 1.6, ant 1.07 and maven 2.09 on
red hat 5.

We are never going to use an external handle server for our local DSpace
instance, so I would like to change all handle references to use the internal
server ref: ie http://ourserver:8080/jspui/123456789/1 etc. and not handle.net.
This way they can easily be referenced internally from our digital catalogue. I
have changed the dspace.cfg file to set the internal
handle server value to true - but obviously something more is now needed since
restarting the tomcat server has no effect, and rebuilding with ant - also no
effect. The few references I have seen in the documentation all appear to
relate to 1.4.2 only - even the ones in the 1.5 manual.

I have re-run mvn package, switched to the target directory and run ant
init_configs. Process said all new files were copied to dspace config
directory. I'm frankly out of ideas now...

Is there any way to implement simple changes in the dspace.cfg file for a
production instance? Is this the only file that requires changing or am I
missing something else?

Thanks,
