Hello, As part of DSpace installation on Windows, I was installing Tomcat and the tomcat installation came to a halt in the middle displaying a permission error. After searching the web i got a quick solution (i.e. delete the previous tomcat service using SC DELETE TOMCAT6) which resolved the permission error. http://www.nabble.com/Failed-to-install-Tomcat5-service-td11114789.html I thought i would share since it worked here smoothly and incase beginners like me are held-up with tomcat installation issues.
