Hi Karen,

I just finished a similar upgrade. Look in the dspace/etc folder and you 
will find the sql needed for the upgrade.

Essentially, you run several scripts upgrading your database 
incrementally from 1.3 to 1.4 and then another to 1.5. You can find more 
information in dspace/docs/docbook.

The default scripts are for Postgres. There is a subfolder with oracle 
scripts.
