We have many of those daily, i tried to log the Referer and its null...
I am almost sure its some kind of robot...

BTW we also do have from time to time script kid attempts messing with
those index types, adding quotes and things like that.

I do think Dspace should treat it with some nicer error/ do not throw
and exception....
