Hi there,

I just installed dspace on Debian. I'm in the chapter 3.3.3 of the
dspace manual, parts 9, 10, 11.
I made a copy of webapps with the tomcat space. I do a restart of
tomcat, then i have the following message in the logs :

========
DSpace has failed to initialize, during stage 2. Error while attempting
to read the
DSpace configuration file (Path:
'/var/...some_directories.../dspace/config/dspace.cfg').
This has likely occurred because either the file does not exist, or it's
permissions
are set incorrectly, or the path to the configuration file is incorrect.
The path to
the DSpace configuration file is stored in a context variable,
'dspace-config', in
either the local servlet or global context.
========

But as the tomcat user i can read the file dspace.cfg given in the log.
I don't understand what tomcat can't access.
Any help is welcome.
